The aim of the second international conference organized by West University of Timișoara, Faculty of Letters, History and Theology, Department of History, is to open dialog between worldwide historians, especially from Central and Eastern Europe. From the Ancient world to the present day, the human societies found various ways to connected each other in a vast social, political, economic, religious and even mental networks. These networks brought together people of different language, ethnicity or social status and open the possibility of cooperation and understanding, but in the same time led to conflict and violence. We encourage everyone to discuss and highlight how people linked in the past and integrated in the political, social, religious, cultural and economic frameworks of different networks. There is no chronological barrier, contributions from Ancient World to present day are to be expected.
